IPA gongs for 3Sixty’s staff development programme
3Sixty's commitment to staff training has been given national recognition at the IPA Excellence in CPD Awards (Continuous Professional Development) held in London on 28th September 2006.
We picked up two gongs: a Silver Award for the way we encourage a knowledge sharing culture in-house by swapping our individual expertise through presentations and talks, and the other was a special award for how we've managed to keep up our staff training programme with a relatively small budget.
As you can tell, we're pretty chuffed! It was particularly exciting because we were up there with some of the larger London-based agencies like MindShare, Profero and Saatchi & Saatchi.
The citation for our two awards read:
The directors of this independent agency needed an innovative approach to their CPD on a shoestring! By successfully leveraging in-house expertise they embedded an all-inclusive knowledge sharing culture into daily working life. In addition to the strong commercial benefits they enjoyed, their focus on professional development resulted in 100% staff retention over a 2 year period. The explicit link between business objectives and the learning objectives was applauded by the judges who felt that this programme represented very good business practice all round.
